Budget 2019: To provide relief to distressed farmers, Finance Minister Piyush Goyal proposed Kisaan scheme under which Rs 6,000 per year will be transferred directly to bank accounts of small farmers.The Kisaan scheme is likely to benefit 12 crore farmer families, Goyal said.

However, under Rythu Bandhu, farmers irrespective of their land holding are getting Rs 8,000 per acre annually, at the rate of Rs 4,000 per acre per crop.
