As consumers continue to indulge in rush-booking LPG refills, the central government has assured the public that it remains committed to ensuring an adequate availability of LPG for householders as well as for essential sectors.

LPG Shortage Update:&nbsp;The central government has once again urged citizens to avoid booking LPG cylinders in panic and to prefer digital modes of booking to prevent crowding at agencies.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Before the beginning of the war, crude oil prices in international markets on February 27 were trading at around $73 per barrel. However, by Saturday, prices had surged sharply to around $103 per barrel.

The Numaligarh–Siliguri Product Pipeline,&nbsp;officially declared, measures&nbsp;654 km long, 406 mm (16-inch)&nbsp;and operates between multiple states. The pipeline has the capacity to move 1.72 million metric tonnes of petroleum products during each annual cycle.

Traders in the city say the ongoing conflicts involving Iran, Israel, and the United States, along with border tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan, have significantly slowed the movement of goods, leading to delays and higher transportation costs.
