The Centre's Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has empowered district magistrates to take legal action against officials failing to enforce restrictions on stubble burning in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and the NCR areas of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The CAQM, a statutory body tasked with preparing strategies to curb air pollution in Delhi-NCR, said 267 stubble-burning incidents were reported in Punjab and 187 in Haryana between September 15 and October 9.

"Taking into account the current situation and to ensure effective implementation of the action plans at the field level, the CAQM has authorised deputy commissioners/district collectors/district magistrates in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and NCR areas of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh to file a complaint/prosecution before jurisdictional judicial magistrate in case of inaction in respect of officials, including nodal officers and supervisory officers and station house officers, responsible for effective enforcement towards ensuring elimination of paddy stubble burning in their respective jurisdiction," a statement said.

The CAQM has also asked district administrations and state governments to stay alert during the harvest season.

It has deployed 26 central teams to key districts in Punjab and Haryana to help local authorities use all available resources to manage stubble. A special cell has also been set up in Chandigarh to monitor these efforts closely.

The CAQM said 267 stubble-burning incidents were reported in Punjab and 187 in Haryana between September 15 and October 9.

State-owned LIC, promoter of IDBI Bank, has said it plans to retain a part of its stake in the lender to harness the benefits of the bancassurance.

Along with the government, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) will also divest its stake in IDBI Bank but may not exit completely, LIC Chairman Siddhartha Mohanty told PTI in an interview.

"We have made it clear that IDBI Bank is our number one partner in bancassurance. We will retain the some stake in IDBI Bank so that the bancassurance partnership continues," he said.

The government, which owns over 45 per cent stake in IDBI Bank, and life insurance behemoth LIC, with a 49.24 per cent shareholding in the lender, have jointly decided to sell a 60.7 per cent stake. IDBI Bank became a subsidiary of LIC with effect from January 21, 2019, after the acquisition of an additional 82,75,90,885 equity shares.

On December 19, 2020, IDBI Bank was reclassified as an associate company due to the reduction of LIC shareholding to 49.24 per cent, following the issuance of additional equity shares by the bank under a qualified institutional placement (QIP).

IDBI Bank has been the strongest contributor to the bancassurance channel, he said, adding for the bancassurance arrangement to continue, LIC may not be required to hold the entire stake.

Bancassurance is an arrangement between a bank and an insurance company, allowing the latter to sell its products to the bank's customers and others through the branch network.

Earlier this month, Department of Investment and Public Asset Monetisation (DIPAM) Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey said the stake sale in IDBI Bank may not be completed by March 2024.

The transaction is "on course", but there are aspects like the RBI's fit and proper criteria, which need to be complied with, Pandey said, adding, "We practically don't think that before March, we can conclude it (IDBI Bank stake sale)".

About the concerns of shareholders on the low price of LIC shares post-listing, Mohanty said, "We are very much concerned about the interest of our shareholders and taking steps to create margin by adopting various means, including by changing product mix".

Post listing, there has been a directional change in LIC's approach with regard to product mix, channel mix and digital intervention, he noted. Share movement is a function of many things, he said, adding that "as management, we are committed to create shareholders value, and in that direction, we are working".

To instil confidence among foreign investors, LIC had conducted a non-deal roadshow in the US, UK, Singapore and Hong Kong earlier this year. The non-deal roadshow got a good response, and most investors evinced a lot of interest in LIC, Mohanty said. He expressed hope that FIIs will also take interest because they are observing quarterly performance. Once they are convinced, money will flow.

How and where to invest: When it comes to investing, everyone wants to play safe and invest in conservative instruments like PPF and Fixed Deposits. Though one may prefer these investment options over riskier instruments like equity, what they ignore is the impact of inflation. While FDs currently give interest income at the rate between 5 to 8 per cent, the current interest rate of PPF is 8 per cent and that of PF is 8.65 per cent.&nbsp; According to Hemant Rustagi, CEO, Wiseinvest Advisors, the rate of inflation remains around 7 per cent in the long-term. "Many people go for conservating investment instruments as it gives assured returns and helps one prepare a retirement corpus in the long run. Let's assume EPFO gives an average return of 8 per cent and the long-term inflation remains around 7 per cent. Considering you are investing in PF for a period of 20 years, if you put the same amount into a balanced mutual fund or an equity mutual fund, the return could be almost double," said Rustagi.

Rustagi further said that though equity is risky, the bigger risk is inflation. Thus one should invest in such instruments that help you beat inflation while giving a better return.

"People are concerned about their hard-earned money and prefer conservative options like FD and PPF. No doubt equity is risky but inflation is a bigger risk and that too invisible. You may invest in PPF and get a return of around 8 per cent but at the same time, you have the option to invest in equity. If you invest in SIPs every month just like you do in PPF, you may get returns much higher than 8% in the long-term." he said.

Rustagi added that no one knows how much money they will need at the time of retirement. Thus the effort should be to beat the inflation and earn more than it. He further said that these options give you flexibility and option to switch to other funds if one option is not performing well.

While an employee can increase his/her contribution up to 100 per cent of the Basic salary, the employer is not bound to match the employee's contribution. While this is a great way to increase your retirement money by doubling your PF contribution, some experts say there is an even better way to make more money. The difference is that you will have to invest somewhere else. Hemant Rustagi, CEO, Wiseinvest Advisors, told Zee Business Online that while an investment in PF gives assured safe return, it doesn't help the investor in beating inflation over the long-term.

"Many people opt for PF as it gives assured returns and helps one prepare a retirement corpus as this is a long term investment. Contribution of 12% of basic salary is mandatory for PF. However, more money you put in it, the more you will have to compromise in the future. Let's say EPFO gives you an average return of 8 per cent and the long-term inflation remains around 7 per cent. This money you are putting regularly in PF for a period of 20 years. If you put the same money into a balanced mutual fund or an equity mutual fund, the return could be almost double over the said period," suggested Rustagi!

Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Department (IRCTC) had launched 'book now, pay later' facility in 2017. Since then, the service has been received well by the users. Arthashastra Fintech Ltd, which provides the ePayLater service, has claimed that around 2.5 lakh IRCTC users opted for the service in the last three months between January and March. Akshat Saxena, Co-Founder, ePayLater, told ZeeBiz.com that the service is gaining popularity with more users opting for it.

"It has emerged as a popular service. The pick up of the service has been on a rise. A lot of customers have booked tatkal tickets using the service, many used the service as they were short on cash, and youngsters have loved the service. The e-pay later allows the users around a couple of weeks breathing time and by the time their salary hits the account and then they can pay the dues," said Saxena.

He added that this digital credit has eliminated the need of people to run for credit instruments like Credit cards.

The Arthashastra Fintech levies a transaction fee of 3.5%+taxes which is a little higher than what credit card users pay at the time of booking a ticket. If you pay using any domestic credit card at IRCTC, you will be charged 1.8%+taxes. However,&nbsp; there isn't any charge associated with debit cards. The ePayLater stood out for providing interest-free credit for a period of 14 days.

The ePayLater has also shared some interesting insights about the Indian Railways tickets booked between January and March this year. Take a look:

1. Booking for summer vacations started from Jan itself this year (6% of total bookings in January were for May-June) 
2. As vacations draw near, the pace of bookings increases as more and more people begin planning for holiday travel (percentage of total monthly bookings done for summer vacations - Feb 8%, Mar 13%, Apr 14%) 
3. A noteworthy trend was seen especially during vacation period - bookings to locations like Tirupati, Puri (religious centers) picks up, bringing them among the top 10 destinations. This trend is not seen during the rest of the year 
4. Pickup in booking for towns like Gorakhpur, Chappra, Patna - which otherwise show lower traffic during the rest of year - is indicative of people traveling to their hometowns/visiting family 
5. The number of travellers per ticket also shows a distinctive jump. For May-June bookings on an average, there are 4 passengers per ticket compared to 2-3 passengers round the year 
6. Majority travellers are still choosing Sleeper class tickets to travel. 
7. In May-Jun, the percentage of women travellers in trains hikes to 42%, 11% higher than the rest of the year - indicating this to be one of the prime seasons when women choose to travel by train 
8. Bookings for women travellers also show a distinctive trend - in May-June, women book more higher-class tickets. This also means that women prefer traveling in higher classes.

Indian Railways: IRCTC ePayLater scheme soars in popularity, 2.5 lakh users opted for it in just 3 months

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is aiming to become the third largest metro network in the world with a total length of approximately 453.58 kilometres once the Phase IV corridors become operational. According to DMRC website, its present operational network length is 373 km and the number of total stations is 271 including Noida-Greater Noida Aqua Line. While Delhi Metro is one of the most reliable public transport services in Delhi-NCR region, the DMRC has been facing problems that prevent it from achieving its potential and this is hitting passengers. Delhi Metro trains are not being able to run at optimum speed and the reason behind that is because of the possibility of people jumping on tracks. While in most of the past cases, people had jumped on the tracks to attempt suicide, the cases of someone falling by mistake or jumping to pick up dropped items had been insignificant.

In 2019 so far, the DMRC operations have been hampered as many as 10 times due to people jumping on the track while attempting suicide. However, in an exception to these cases, a lady had jumped on the track on March 13 to pick her Rs 2000 note, which she had accidentally dropped. on March 7, around 10-12 people had come down on the metro tracks at Vishwavidyalaya Metro station causing a delay in services.

This year, cases of a person jumping on the track have been reported on April 3, 4, 9 and 13, on March 7 and 21, on February 20, and on January 14 and 18.

Though Delhi Metro has a provision of a penalty of up to 6 months imprisonment or a fine of up to Rs 500 or both if someone is found walking on Metro tracks without lawful authority, such incidences have increased over the time.&nbsp;

<h2>The Solution</h2>

There is a solution, but it does not apply universally. Fortunately, not all stations are prone to this problem. All the newly inaugurated lines of the Delhi Metro have pre-installed Platform screen doors (PSDs). This feature prevents anything or anybody falling on tracks. However, the old lines including Blue Line don't have this facility. The PSDs installed at Metro stations are 1.7 metres in height and are quite effective in preventing such incidents.

<h2>What DMRC Is Doing&nbsp;</h2>

A Delhi Metro official told ZeeBiz.com that the decision on the installation of PSDs is taken from time to time based on the need. "While a proposal for installation of PSDs at Rajeev Chowk is under consideration, the work poses various technical challenges as well. PSDs cannot be installed during operational hours and the work can be performed only during non-commercial hours. This increases the implementation time," said the official.

When asked if there is any proposal to install PSDs at all stations, the official said, "Though there is no such proposal, we are going one by one. Also, there is a problem of space at existing stations as the PSDs were not considered while doing the architectural planning for those stations. The PSDs will be installed on the&nbsp;need basis," said the official.

Though there may not be a plan for equipping entire Delhi Metro station platforms with PSDs, if track jumping cases keep occurring, surely, the DMRC will be left with no choice but to go for the PSDs. Of course, considering how large the Delhi Metro network is, funds required for the same will be huge and that poses yet another big problem.

'Person on track': How passengers in distress are holding back Delhi Metro's speed

Finance Ministry in January had said that authorities are investigating as many as 3,626 cases of GST evasion/violations involving an estimated amount of Rs 15,278.18 crore. It had added that an amount of Rs 9,959.29 crore was recovered out of the total detection amount. The ministry had said that the quantum of tax evasion detected had gone up in FY 2018-19 (Up to December 2018) over FY17-18 and FY 2016-17. The authorities had detected as many as 8917 cases involving Rs 48555.06 crore till December 2018. While the figures stand at 6,815 cases (Rs 32,204.49 crore) and 10,212 cases (Rs 23,618.52 crore) in the FY17-18 and FY16-17 respectively.&nbsp;In the coming days, the tax evasion will become tougher than ever courtesy DGARM and soon to be launched 360-degree profiling of the taxpayers.&nbsp;

Directorate General of Analytics &amp; Risk Management (DGARM) is the apex body of under CBIC. The DGARM had become operational with effect from 1st July 2017. The DGARM utilizes internal and external data sources like income tax, MCA, Eway bIlls, GSTN etc for data mining and analysis to generate outputs for focused and targeted action by field formations and investigation wings of CBIC. Till November 2018, the DGARM had resulted in total detection of Rs 677.68 crore.

"After analysing the data, DGARM prepares thematic reports with a list of taxpayers on whom there is a risk of tax evasion. These reports are then sent to tax officers of the CBIC. The CBIC officers are responsible to certify the efficacy of data and initiate appropriate action against the tax evaders," said Rajat Mohan, Partner, AMRG &amp; Associates.

Mohan said that the government soon intends to have 360-degree profiling of every taxpayer, data would be shared on a real-time basis between all government authorities using Adhaar/PAN.&nbsp;

"If the reports of this authority are swift and accurate, then collections would be very high. In a recent DO letter by CBIC chairman reconciliation between Income tax and service tax data is found to be as high as INR 12 lakh crores in 2015-2016. Using this we can always estimate the power of simple tools of reconciliation," said Mohan.

Taking about issues still plaguing GST filing, Mohan said that technical glitches are still hampering the process. Some of the issues with the system, according to him, are:

* Some parts of the return filing process are still not incorporated in returns. For example Table 9b on refund voucher in GSTR -1 is still not activated. 
* Incorrect data reflect online in GSTR -1, Electronic cash/ credit ledger. 
* GST Refund process is still manual to a great extent. 
* Tax credit matching is a laborious task. GSTR 2A keeps on updating every month, it is impossible to keep track of the same. 
* Suppliers can change GSTIN at their free will disallowing tax credit to the actual recipient.

The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) has been simplifying the process based on inputs received. "GSTN will focus, amongst others, on the development of new return filing, further improving the user interface, and Business Intelligence and Analytics. Improvement in User Interface on the basis of feedback is a continuous process," the ministry had said. Thus, the GSTN is expected to resolve the issues in the coming days.

How DGARM, 360-degree profiling will make tax evasion nearly impossible

Indian Railways has been equipping its staffs with modern tools. Right from wearable GPS device for trackman to hoverboards for Carriage &amp; Wagon (C&amp;W) staff, the railways has been adopting innovative methods to boost its employees' productivity. Now, in yet another technical upgrade, the Indian Railways has decided to equip its Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel with electric Segway. The Central Railway has decided to provide RPF personnel deployed at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) with Segway to help them in the patrolling duty. Since these stations have heavy passenger footfall and often heavy rush at platforms blocks the faster movement of RPF personnel in case of any eventuality. Thus, to reduce the response time in attending the passengers in distress and need, the Central Railway RPF Mumbai division has procured 5&nbsp; Segway for patrolling on the mainline railway stations.&nbsp;

The Segway will increase the mobility of staff and will also help in the surveillance of every nook and corner of the station. The Central Railway has provided 3 Segways to RPF at CSMT station and 2 to RPF at LTT station. A senior railway official said that depending upon the success of this experiment, RPF personnel at other stations like Dadar, Panvel, Igatpuri will also be provided with Segways. They were first introduced on January 25 by the Western Railway at Bandra Terminus, Andheri, Mumbai Central, Churchgate, and Borivli stations.

Indian Railways is on a high. Its Integral Coach Factory in Chennai had emerged as the world's largest coach manufacturer by surpassing China's national manufacturer in March 2019. Now, the latest figures from the Indian Railways show that its production units have manufactured as many as 6,713 coaches and locomotives in the FY 2018-19. While the ICF led from the front, the other production units of the Indian Railways have also increased their production giving a much-needed thrust to the 'Make In India' initiative.&nbsp;&nbsp;

<h2>ICF: 'Vande Bharat Express'</h2>

This year has been historic for the ICF as it has not only achieved record production but has also produced the Train 18 aka Vande Bharat Express. The ICF has manufactured a total of 3262 coaches which is higher than the estimated target of 3200.

<h2>CLW: India's first WAG9 9000HP locomotive</h2>

Another manufacturing unit of railways which has impressed with its production is Chittaranjan Locomotive Works. It has produced a record 402 locomotives while its ancillary unit at Dankuni near Kolkata has produced 50 locos in FY 2018-19. In the last FY 2017-18, CLW turned out 350 locomotives. The CLW has also achieved a 7.5% reduction in the cost of the locomotives. The cost per unit of WAG9 type loco is just above Rs 10 crore.&nbsp; The production of Indian Railways' first 9000HP locomotive and another first in the form of 200 kmph aerodynamic WAP-5 locomotive are some of the major achievements of the CLW during 2018-19.&nbsp;&nbsp;

In addition to these, the CLW has successfully completed various development projects like HOG enabled (with composite converter) High-Speed WAP-5 locomotive, High speed (160 kmph) version of WAP-7 locomotive and testing and proliferation of Push-Pull technology.

<h2>MCF: AC Pantry (Hot Buffet) Car</h2>

The Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli has also surpassed its target this year. Modern Coach Factory is a comparatively new Production unit of the Indian Railways. In the FY 2017-18, its target was 710 coaches while it produced 711 coaches. This year, the MCF has surpassed the target of 1422 coaches by manufacturing 1425 coaches which is more than double the outturn of last year. In this FY, MCF has also manufactured new types of coaches namely - Under Slung Power car, AC Pantry (Hot Buffet) Car, Non AC Chair Car and Track Recording Car for RDSO.

On the other hand, the Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala has produced 1,350 LHB and MEMU coaches altogether while the Diesel Locomotive Works, Varanasi has manufactured 274 engines. The DLW has been given a target of producing 998 locos between 2018-2022.&nbsp;

Delhi Metro: The recently inaugurated Pink Line and Magenta Line may have added a new paradigm for the Delhi Metro in terms of infrastructure and rolling stock, but it is yet to solve an issue that passengers are facing since it was launched last year. It's notable that the underground stations of the newly inaugurated lines have no mobile network connectivity. Once the metro train goes underground on these lines, the network towers disappear from commuters' mobiles. This causes inconvenience to the passengers, especially to those who wish to make any phone call, send messages using apps like Facebook or WhatsApp or do their office work on smartphones using the internet.

Earlier, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation had said to resolve the issue by February end. However, the same is yet to be done. A DMRC official informed ZeeBiz.com that dedicated teams are working to resolve the issue and the work should be completed by April-end.&nbsp;

"The work is in progress. The delay is mainly due to short-availability of time as we have to do the work only during the non-operations hours i.e. during nights. Also, there are technical difficulties as well as we have to secure the power block among other things. So, we have to do work only during a few hours left in the night when trains go for maintenance in depots," said the official.

Earlier in January this year, a senior DMRC official had told ZeeBiz.com that a team of around 300 people is working to install signal boosters on the routes.&nbsp;

Pink Line has a total of 38 metro stations from Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar. However, at present, the train runs between Majlis Park to Mayur Vihar Phase 1 as the work is under progress on the rest of the route. On the Pink Line, Azadpur, Shalimar Bagh, Netaji Subhash Place, Bhikaji Cama Place, Sarojini Nagar, INA, South Extension, Lajpat Nagar, Vinobapuri, Ashram, and Hazrat Nizamuddin are underground stations.

Delhi Metro's Magenta Line connects Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden. The Magenta Line has 25 stations of which 23 are underground and two are elevated. What every government ministry has in common is a big stock of files and use of paper for documentation purpose. However, Indian Railways is trying to change this. It had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with RailTel, a Miniratna PSU under Ministry of Railways, on March 8. Indian Railways till date is burgeoned with manual ways to handle office documents. This not only makes the process slow but consumes more energy on its workforce. The aim of E-Office implementation is to provide a reliable, efficient, and effective way to handle office files and documents.

E-Office is a cloud-enabled software that is deployed/hosted from RailTel Tier III-certified data centre. It is based on the Central Secretariat Manual of e-Office Procedure (CSMeOP). The product is built as a single reusable system by bringing together independent functions and systems under a single framework to enhance transparency, increase accountability and transform the government work culture and ethics.

However, in a time when cybercrime is rampant and the government data is considered most vulnerable, will the security provided by RailTel prove to be a tough nut for hackers to crack?

Puneet Chawla, CMD, RailTel, told ZeeBiz.Com that the Indian Railways E-Office application is deployed on Private Cloud with multi-layered security.

"Indian Railways E-Office application is deployed on Private Cloud of RailTel and not on Public Cloud. The RailTel cloud platform is secured by multiple layers of security provided through UTM (Unified Threat Management) with IPS/IDS functionality, Anti-malware, secure VPN etc. Also, the network layer is provided on a secure MPLS VPN layer which is highly secure compared to the Internet/IP layer. All the Railway units are connected over the secure MPLS-VPN based RailNet connection. The user devices ie PC's are provided with End Point security managed from a central location. The user login is authenticated by LDAP server for providing user access to the eOffice application using CAPTCHA. The system provides for DSC (Digital Signature Certificate) for each of the eOffice users for electronically signing the office notes/proposals. RailTel IT systems conform to the ISO/IEC 27001 information security standard and the RailTel Data centres are certified to ISO/IEC 27001 standard," said Chawla.

The E-Office implementation will first be taken up at the South-Central Railway zonal headquarter along with Guntur division by Mar-2019. The work of implementation in the entire south- central railway would be completed by June 19 and other Zonal headquarters and one division in each zone will be completed by Dec-19. RailTel has already completed the soft rollout of E-office in a record time of one month in the Guntur Division of Indian Railways.

Currently, 4 modules (File Management System (eFile), Knowledge Management System (KMS) Collaboration, Messaging Services (CAMS) and Personnel Information Management System (PIMS)) will be the part of the e-office system being implemented.

"The benefits will be visible once the system is fully put to use and the manual file system is stopped. It will result in a delightful experience for the end-user, eOffice will be a milestone in Digitization of Indian Railways. It will continue to be a tool to foster improved reliability, efficiency and productivity. E-office promises enhanced transparency, increased accountability, data security and integrity, and promotes innovation by releasing staff energy and time from unproductive process and procedures. E-Office fosters a paper-less culture which will not only save operational cost but also promote a green way of working," RailTel had said.

When asked about the estimated amount that railways will be saving using the move, Chawla said, "Currently, the exercise to estimate the savings has not been done. However substantial direct saving in terms of paper, printing cost, printing hardware &amp; consumable, photocopiers &amp; consumables etc, will be achieved. The system will help in faster disposal of files and improve the overall administrative and operational efficiencies and enhance the productivity of Indian Railways."

Indian Railways has offices in almost every part of the country and the savings using the move may go into crores.

No one would have believed that PM Narendra Modi's Make in India initiative would bring this honour to the country! While the Modi government has been working to promote 'Make in India' in most sectors including smartphones and defence, Indian Railways led from the front. Recently during the five-year report launch of the railways, minister Piyush Goyal said that PM Modi had encouraged the railway coach factory to boost its production. In the year 2014-15, Modern Coach Factory, Raebareli had produced 140 coach while in the FY 2018-19, it has so far produced 1,283 coaches and aiming to close the FY with record 1,422 coaches.&nbsp;

Not only this, the Integral Coach Factory, Chennai, which developed and produced Vande Bharat Express, has broken the record of top Chinese rolling stock manufacturer which produces around 2600 coach a year. Every year, ICF is creating new records by turning out more number of coaches in new types. This year, so far ICF has rolled out 2,919 coaches as of 28th February 2018 which is huge, when compared to 2085 coaches and 1976 coaches turned out during the same period in the year 2018 and 2017 respectively. It is expected to roll out around 3,300 coaches by the March end.&nbsp;

Sudhanshu Mani, former GM of the ICF who oversaw the production of Vande Bharat Express, told ZeeBiz.com that ICF has a fantastic team and it only needed to harness the enthusiasm of the team to achieve the record.

"When we reached 2503 coaches in 17-18, a rise of 500 coaches, or 25% increase in 2 years, and that too with more variety, more self/propelled and LHB coaches, I knew that ICF was geared for greater heights. We had already become the largest coach factory in the world. We had a fantastic team. All we needed was to harness the enthusiasm of the team, go for more judicious outsourcing of activities, take measures to improve the productivity of our staff through collective interaction at every level and keep the morale of the team high," said Mani.

Mani added that the ICF team was on a high as Train 18 had created a wellspring of excitement.

"The team responded very well. They already were on a high as design and manufacture of Train 18, the first indigenous semi high speed rolling stock completely conceptualized, designed, engineered and manufactured in India, had created a wellspring of excitement. All good committed staffs were motivated through so many HRD measures like inaugurations only by staff members, family tree, vanams/parks named after senior staff, liberal awards and certificates etc. The rest is history. In the early part of FY18-19 itself, we realized that we would cross 3200 coaches in FY18-19 and there you are. ICF will turn out more than 3300 coaches this year," said Mani.

The ICF had started its operations in 1955 and has so far turned out 59,453 coaches in various designs.
