Govt's e-payments platform BHIM App witnesses over 10 million downloads in 10 days

The government's recently launched e-payments platform BHIM App has witnessed over 10 million downloads in 10 days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched BHIM App during his address to 'DigiDhan Mela' in New Delhi on December 30 last year, according to earlier PTI report.

NITI Aayog mulls Rs125-crore budget for lucky draws to boost e-payments

Aimed at promoting digital transactions, government think tank NITI Aayog has proposed an award scheme with a budget of Rs 125 crore to incentivise people using electronic mode of payments through weekly and quarterly lucky draw contests.
