BJP has won the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections with 303 seats and PM elect Narendra Modi is all set to take oath to retain his incumbency. The stock markets, on the other hand, performed really positive by crossing all time highs on the result day, May 23. The BSE Sensex touched all time high of 40,000, while NSE Nifty50 surpassed record high of 12,000. However both benchmark indices were not able to sustain the levels but experts are predicting the positive trend for next few months.

The Lok Sabha Election Results 2019 that were announced on Thursday evening declared the BJP-led NDA as the winner. As per Election Commission, BJP won 303 seats out of 542, witnessing a landslide win. Congress was contained at 52 seats.

She defeated Rashtriya Lok Dal’s Kunwar Narendra Singh, who is the joint opposition candidate of the ‘mahagathbandhan’ in Uttar Pradesh. BJP has taken an unassailable lead in the Lok Sabha elections, and assured its return to power at centre.

Both Sensex and Nifty continued their positive run even on Friday, a day after Narendra Modi-led NDA's thumping win in the Lok Sabha elections 2019. Sensex opened 270 points higher at over 39,000 mark while Nifty gained 90 points to go open at around 11,750 in the early trade.
On Lok Sabha 2019 elections counting day, Titan once again touched another high - the company’s shares clocked an all-time high of Rs 1,262.10 per piece.
