The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted "heavy to very heavy" rains in Mumbai for Sunday, including "extremely heavy" rain in isolated places. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said it was prepared for the monsoon onslaught and asked citizens to be careful.
