Domestic sales grew 14.91 per cent at 48,601 units as compared to 42,293 units in the year-ago month, it added.

While the overall domestic sales stood at 18,766 units, exports accounted for 6,004 units in May 2023.

The company had posted total sales of 13,273 units in May 2022, Ashok Leyland said in a statement.
