SIAM March 2024 Data: Total PV sales at 3.68 lakh units, car sales at 1.11 lakh units

Total sales of passenger vehicles, in the domestic as well as foreign markets, came in at 3.68 lakh, according to SIAM.

Auto sales March 2024: Domestic passenger vehicle sales stood at 3,68,086 units in March, according to data from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) released on Friday. The data included Tata Motors' domestic sales data while the numbers of BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), and Volvo Auto were not available, said industry body SIAM.
Out of the total PV sales, car sales came in at 1.11 lakh, according to the data from SIAM, an industry body representing a host of vehicle and vehicular engine makers in the country.
