Ayushmann Khurrana has given us a number of memorable films, right from his first hit Vicky Donor. But never had his films set the box office on fire like the Bollywood A-listers, or big budget movies. Things seem to have changed for Ayushmann now. At least his recent two, back-to-back, movies are the proof. AndhaDhun starring Khurrana and Tabu not only grossed a lot at the Box Office but also got rave reviews,What puts him among the A-listers like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar etc, is his latest - Badhaai Ho. Considering the numbers this film has cornered in just three days, it couldn't have been more aptly named than - 'Badhaai Ho' in this festive season.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh today tweeted that Khurranna's Badhaai Ho has raked in the kind of numbers in Australia that are normally associated with A-listers. Badhaai Ho is raking in big numbers in Australia... Something that’s associated with A-list stars or big-budget movies...Thu A$ 1,033; Fri A$ 68,079 Sat A$ 108,815 / 23 locations; Total: A$ 177,927 [₹ 92.98 lakhs]" Adarsh Tweeted.
In India, the film is on course to enter the prestigious Rs 100-crore club.

Another analyst, Komal Nahta has predicted that Badhaai Ho will enter the coveted Rs 100-crore club. "Badhaai Ho demonstrates a superb hold on Saturday (after 2 partial holidays on Thursday and Friday on account of Dassera) and collects Rs. 12.50 crore. 3-day total is Rs. 31.46 crore. And this is without the release in M.P. due to the ongoing cinema strike there," Nahta tweeted today. On Satruday, he had said, As predicted in review, #BadhaaiHo all set to join 100-crore club! What a jump in collections!! From Rs. 7.29 crore on Thursday to Rs. 11. 67 crore on Friday. Total for 2 days: Rs. 18.96 crore! BIG figure for a small film. Note: it didn’t open in MadhyaPradesh due to cinema bandh."
