Dream Girl 2 Box Office Day 1: Ayushmann Khurrana gets biggest opening of his career — Rs 10.69 crore

Ayushmann Khurrana made a decent entry this Friday (25 August) with the release of his much-awaited Dream Girl 2. After raking in a double-digit opening on Day 1, Dream Girl 2 has also become the actor's biggest opener to date. Speaking of which, the film managed to earn nearly Rs 11 crore on the day of its release and is still going well over the weekend. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and made under the banner of Ektaa R Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures, the film includes a starry ensemble of actors like Paresh Rawal, Ananya Panday, Annu Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav, and Vijay Raaz, among others. 

Dream Girl 2: Day 1 Collection

As shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on X (formerly known as Twitter), Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday’s Dream Girl 2 earned Rs 10.69 crore on the day of its release. 

"#DreamGirl2 starts VERYYY WELL on Day 1… The growth in biz [post 4 pm onwards] clearly indicates that a strong weekend is on the cards… Fri ₹ 10.69 cr. #India biz," he wrote.
