The company has embraced E20 petrol since 2009, and all Honda cars manufactured in India from January 1, 2009, are compatible with E20 materials, the company stated.

Last month, the automaker sold 4,351 units in the domestic market and 6,516 units in overseas locations.&nbsp;The company had registered sales of 5,313 units in the domestic market and exported 2,363 units in April last year.

Honda is offering discount on some of its best selling models,&nbsp;Honda City,&nbsp; Honda Amaze and Honda Elevate. Recent updates across the Honda lineup in India have seen the introduction of six airbags on all trims of the City and Elevate, alongside a standard seat belt reminder for all five seats.

Exports surged over two-fold to 6,860 units last month as against 3,189 units in the same month last year, it added.&nbsp;For 2023-24 fiscal, the automaker sold 1,24,173 units, including domestic and exports, in comparison to 1,14,140 units recorded in FY 22-23.

Honda Amaze, positioned as an entry-level option, initiates at Rs 7.16 lakh, while the premium Elevate starts at Rs. 11.58 lakh. The Honda City, renowned among consumers, commences at Rs. 11.71 lakh, with its hybrid variant, City e:HEV, priced from Rs. 18.89 lakh, all prices exclusive of taxes and additional charges.

To deliver maximum value to the customer, and that is what we intend to do," he said.
