Banks are consistently upgrading their services these days for the convenience of customers. These days you can complete almost all the banking related tasks from home itself. However, for that, you need to register your active mobile number with the lender. In case your latest number is not registered with the bank, you won't be able to access internet banking services. Interestingly, the SBI account holders can change their mobile number through bank's official website - onlinesbi.com, without visiting the branch. 
 
SBI account holders can change their mobile number in two ways. One is by visiting the SBI ATM and second is via phone banking. To complete the process, the customer will need ATM debit card, bank account details and activated mobile number. 
 
How to register mobile number with SBI via Phone Banking 
 
The customer should be a registered phone banking user and then to call the SBI contact center (1800-11-22-11 or 1800-425-3800) and follow the process as guided. Notably, the customer need to keep ther ATM card details, PIN and bank account details before making the call. 
 
How to register mobile number with SBI via ATM 
 
1. Visit SBI ATM and swipe your debit card 
2. Select the 'Registration' option from the options 
3. Enter your ATM PIN and select 'Update your mobile number' option 
4. Enter your old mobile number and confirm it. 
5. Enter the new mobile number and confirm. 
6. OTPs will be sent on both, the old and new mobile numbers.

Another mistake is to chase returns without considering the associated risks. He says, " Diversification is&nbsp;important to manage downside risk. Therefore, do not put all in your eggs in one basket. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to present Union Budget 2019 on July 5 and the expectations are high in the world of businessmen that this time there will be something big for them.&nbsp;This is the first budget of the second term of the Modi government. While several industries have put forward their demands, more and more voices have been asking for&nbsp;changes in the Goods and Services Tax (GST) asking&nbsp;for it to be&nbsp;simplified and also the companies which provide clean pre-reconciled purchase data should get&nbsp;&nbsp;input tax credit (ITC) immediately.&nbsp;

Vinod Subramanian, CEO, Logo Infosoft, told Zee Business Online that, “The true power of GST is in government providing complete input tax credit, on time, helping companies with monthly cashflow. This can be achieved only when full reconciliation is in place – every invoice between parties, at every line item level." 
 
On GST, Subramanian said, "The biggest disappointment till date with GST is that the&nbsp;government has been very lenient with data asks. This is a two way street, companies which provide clean pre-reconciled purchase data should get ITC immediately." 
 
He suggested, "Government should look at providing at least 1% tax incentive to companies providing pre-reconciled purchase data for next one year. For SMEs, this can be higher at 2% of the ITC claimed. Such incentives can drive positive behaviour, increased compliance and higher tax collections” 
 
The GST Council had recommended a few changes to the GST law recently. These changes are expected to be brought into effect in the ensuing budget.

In a press release R Subramaniakumar, MD &amp; CEO – Indian Overseas Bank said “This launch is part of IOB’s commitment under EASE (Enhanced Access and Service Excellence) program of DFS, Ministry of Finance, Govt of India. Indian Overseas Bank, the winner of EASE award under the ‘Deepening of Financial Inclusion’ category for the year 2019 has two Mobile ATMs operating in Metro Centers. The new Mobile Vans will help to serve the unbanked areas of 14 Lead Districts of IOB.” 
 
State Bank of India (SBI): 
Here are the facilities which SBI offers to its customers namely Cash pickup, Cash delivery, Cheque pickup, Cheque requisition Slip pickup, Form 15H pickup, Delivery of Drafts, Delivery of Term Deposit Advice, Life Certificate Pickup, KYC documents pickup. 
 
Notably, this new facility of SBI is given only to those senior citizens who are over 70 years of age group. Apart from them, the service is also offered to differently abled customers and infirm customers including visually impaired customers. This facility is available only to fully KYC compliant account holders, with a valid mobile number registered with the bank and residing within 5 KM of radius from their Home Branch. 
 
Axis Bank Doorstep facility: 
Axis Bank offers services like Pick up of Cash, Pick up of Instruments, Delivery of Cash/ Demand Drafts to Doorstep Banking. The best part is that the service you require is only a call away. Banks advise using their Debit Card Number and Debit Card PIN to avail these services. Types of accounts against which the Doorstep Banking Service is not available are Joint accounts operated jointly and Minor accounts. Also, the account holder should know the registered address cannot be more than 5 km beyond the base branch.

A recently concluded study by global property consultancy Knight Frank India, Mumbai showed maximum progress in affordability since 2010. &nbsp;&nbsp; 
 
Amit Ruparel, MD, Ruparel Realty said, Mumbai has emerged as one of the top residential investments destinations owing to its rapid infrastructural development. 
 
As per the Home Purchase Affordability Index, which assesses housing loan eligibility of a household with average annual income to buy a 1,000 sq ft house at prevailing market rate, affordability levels have improved over the last five years? There are lots of new Flexi payment schemes floating in the market to give homebuyers cooling period for the payment. In consequence of massive infrastructure push by the government to ease commuting in western and eastern corridors of Mumbai, the northern region will continue to be at the epicentre of real estate activities in future. In the western suburbs, Kandivali is becoming the most preferred location amongst home buyers due to proposed New Sea Link between Versova and Virar, implementation of Metro Line 2 and Mumbai Coastal Road (MCR).&nbsp; 
 
Thereby, Ruparel reiterates saying, "Compact and affordable homes are a growing trend in Mumbai real estate sector from consumer’s standpoint." 
 
From a real estate developer’s perspective, Ruparel says, "The current circumstance is the ideal state to plan and act upon constructing affordable functional homes in the city centre. Real estate developers need to change their approach and adopt smarter strategies to tap this opportunity. The best way to capitalize on the situation is by adopting and enhancing the concept of ‘Space rationalisation’. The market strikes equilibrium from a design standpoint if both the needs are met." 
 
Looking forward, Ruparel said, "We see Chembur as future growth corridor for homebuyers in Mumbai. The locality is seeing growing connectivity to the business hubs through The Santacruz–Chembur Link Road (SCLR), Eastern Freeway, hence there is demand coming in from the working professionals who are looking at residential investment. The real estate sector in India has been witnessing prolonged sluggishness over the last few years and the property prices have gone down. And homebuyers should certainly take advantage of the situation."

We are also hopeful that in the ease of doing business related to construction permits &amp; transparency we will be in the top 10 in the world. I am hopeful that the government will make housing affordable in all major metros by reducing the taxes, premiums and GST levy by the govt. and will also infuse liquidity into the banks &amp; NBFCs dealing with the real estate sector.”&nbsp; 
 
Welcoming the BJP party Babulal Varma, Managing Director, Omkar Realtors says "Real estate sector welcomes the new government and expects that it will bring in newer reforms and policy for added transparency to get the sector back on a fast track. Concerning Mumbai city, the new government should immediately take a relook at the current &nbsp;GST structure for SRA and redevelopment vertical in Mumbai which accounts for close to 55-60% of all development work being carried out. We are confident that the new government will look into this double taxation issue, in order to make Mumbai slum-free faster.” 
 
However, Navin Makhija, Managing Director, Wadhwa Group said "The government needs to continue its focus on housing for all 2022 vision. More focus is needed on completion of ongoing infrastructural projects which will benefit the affordable housing clusters in areas like Panvel in MMR region of Mumbai. These infra projects will boost residential realty in and around the city like Mumbai"&nbsp;&nbsp;
