GreenCell Mobility on Wednesday, May 14, secured a landmark order of over 1,200 electric buses from CESL under the PM E-Bus Sewa scheme. The company has been given the Letter of Award (LOA) for the supply and deployment of 472 Eicher electric buses in Madhya Pradesh.

Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena and Transport Minister Kailash Gahlot laid the foundation stone for India's largest multi-level electric bus depot in Vasant Vihar, South Delhi. Spanning 7.6 lakh square feet and costing Rs 409 crore, the depot will house 434 buses with EV charging stations, rooftop solar panels, and 16 maintenance pits. The National Buildings Construction Corporation will oversee the construction.
