The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665, used for the first time on this device. However, Xiaomi did unveil the Mi A3 with the same chipset a day later.
The Realme 5 comes with several launch offers that make it a more exciting product to buy. The phone comes with Complete Mobile Protection at Rs 99 on Flipkart, Paytm First benefits up to Rs 20,000 on purchase from Paytm and cashback of Rs 2,000 when customers use Paytm UPI on realme.com. Apart from this, Jio is also providing exclusive benefits worth Rs 7,000 when customers buy realme 5 on Flipkart or realme.com.

Realme 5 price in India and sale timing
The Realme 5 price in India has been set at Rs 9,999 for the 3GB + 32GB storage variant, Rs 10,499 for the 4GB + 64GB model, and Rs 11,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It will go on sale in the country starting at 12pm (noon) IST on Flipkart and Realme.com. The company had also announced a Pro variant of the phone which will go on sale on September 4.

The smartphone is features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC. The phone sports a quad rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary camera (PDAF and an f/1.8 aperture), an 8-megapixel sensor (f/2.25 aperture and a 119-degree wide-angle lens), a 2-megapixel macro lens (f/2.4 aperture and a 4cm focus distance), and a 2-megapixel portrait lens (f/2.4 aperture). On the front, the phone offers a 13-megapixel selfie camera. It packs a massive 5,000mAh battery and there is a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel as well.
