Chain of branded venues, BookEventZ.com has raised Series-A funding from Mumbai based VC firm Equanimity Ventures founded by Rajesh Sehgal (Formerly with Franklin Templeton Investments). The company will use fresh funding to increase the number of flagship venues. The company has over 30 venues in Mumbai and further aims to push the envelope with 1000 venues in India by 2021, vowing market leadership position.
"We have been profitable for the last one year and growing organically. The partnership with Equanimity has come at a very right time for us to expand the business exponentially. The fresh capital will be used to reach to 100 Venues in Mumbai and create a stronger brand by working on overall user experience at each venue,” says Shriti Chhajed, the Founder of BookeventZ.com.
The company BookEventZ.com It is a chain of branded venues that provide services for Weddings, Parties and Corporate events. Apart from having the various venue options, the platform also offers a virtual tour of venues and real-time availability, which help customers to save on time, money and mundane surfing.
