Stock market holidays in May 2024, Maharashtra day holiday: Both the leading exchanges NSE and will BSE will remain closed on Wednesday, May 1 on account of Maharashtra day as per the holiday calendar available on the BSE.

As per the BSE, the Equity Segment, Equity Derivative Segment and SLB Segment as well as the Currency Derivatives Segment and Interest Rate Derivatives segments will also remain shut on May 1.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) will also remain shut for trading in the morning sessions i.e., 9 AM to 5 PM on May 1. However, India's first listed exchange will remain open for the evening session i.e., 5 PM to 11:30 PM /11:55 PM.
