Sensex up 37 points, Bharat Financial rises 4%
Top gainers on BSE Sensex included Network18 which was up over 11%, followed by Bharat Financial, up 4.32%. Major losers on BSE Sensex included Naukri, Apollo Tyres, DB Corp, GPPL and Tata Steel.
BSE Sensex rose 0.14% to trade at 26,250.54 points at 9:48 am on Wednesday. NSE Nifty too was trading higher by 0.13%, at 8043.20 points.

On the NSE Nifty, there were 31 advances and 20 declines.
Major gainers on NSE Nifty were Aurobindo Pharma, Wipro, ZEEL, M&M while losers were Tata Steel, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Ultratech Cement and Bharti Airtel.
Shares of Reliance Infra jumped nearly 4% after 1.6% of its equity or 12.3 million shares changed hands in a block deal.
