After controversy over 50% discount, Air India does U-turn in UAE
After the carrier scrapped the UAE-based discount policy on September 19, the residents had expressed dismay over this decision. As per a report from Khaleej Times, Air India has now announced that it will continue to retain 50% discount on repatriation of mortal remains from the United Arab Emirates and this decision will also apply to the Indian national carrier's budget service Air India Express.
