Akasa Air beat the leading Indian airlines like Air India and Indigo to achieve the No. 1 spot in the list of on-time flights, according to the ranking list released by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Akasa Air's one-time story (OTP) is 77.7 per cent.
The OTP of an airline is measured by the punctuality of its flights against the schedule mentioned beforehand. A flight is considered on-time when it arrives within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival time or departs within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time.
