Team India began its campaign at Tokyo 2020 Paralympics with table tennis on August 25, 2021. At 7.30 AM, Sonal Patel participated in the para table tennis for women's singles in class 3, group D. AT 8.50 AM, Bhavina Patel is set to participate at para table tennis in the women's singles class 4, group D category. According to an ANI report, 4403 athletes will compete across 22 sports and 23 disciplines (cycle has two disciplines, track and road).
