Shardul's spectacular knock
Shardul Thakur scored a spectacular knock of 60 in 72 runs in the second innings. His score comprised of seven boundaries and one six. Incidentally, Thakur came in handy with the bat in the first innings as well where he scored 57 runs in just 36 balls. Source: Sony Sports Twitter
Other batting performances
After a somewhat average batting performance in the first innings, Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul gave a solid start. Sharma scored a century, 127 runs and Rahul 46. Pujara and Kohli also gave a strong support in the middle order, scoring 61 and 44 runs, respectively. England's target
India was all out for 191 runs in the first innings and England scored 290 in the runs in the first innings. After India's 466 runs in the second innings, England now needs 368 runs to win the match. At present, England is 77-0 and need 291 more runs to win the match on the last day. Source: PTI

After this match, the teams will play one more test to complete the five-match series. At present, the series is level 1-1. The first test ended in a draw. In the second test match, India scripted a historic win at Lord's. England came back strong in the third test match and defeated India at Leeds.
