This bullet train can cover 400 kilometres in one hour!

Almost everyone is aware of the Japanese bullet train because of its speed. Now, Japan has started testing its fastest-ever bullet train, which is a revolutionary mode of travelling for the commuters.

This train has the capacity of reaching 400 kilometres per hour (249 mph). 

According to a report by CNN news, the ALFA-X version of the Shinkansen train began three years' worth of test runs on Friday. It is expected to enter operation sometime around 2030. The report says that it will run at a speed of up to 360 kph (224 mph). 

It has also been reported that this Japanese bullet train will outpace China's Fuxing train, which runs 10 kph slower speed despite being designed with the same top speed capabilities as the ALFA-X.

This Japanese bullet train has a futuristic design featuring 10 cars and a long pointed nose. 

Reportedly, the train will be tested on the line between the cities of Sendai and Aomori, which are about 280 kilometres apart as the crow flies. 

This trial test will be taken place twice a week after midnight when the line is quiet.
