ICC T20 World Cup 2024: Just two days prior to the deadline day for the announcement of the team for the ICC T20 World Cup, New Zealand named their 15-man squad on Monday, April 29. The announcement was made in a very creative way, where the 'Blackcaps' posted a video on X (formerly known as Twitter) where two kids— Matilda and Angus— announced the squad for the World Cup hosted in the West Indies and USA in June 2024.

New Zealand has named four pacers in the squad—Trent Boult, Lockie Ferguson, and Tim Southee with the inclusion of Henry. They also have a power-packed batting lineup that includes Rachin Ravindra, Devon Conway, Daryl Mithcell, and Glenn Phillips. Pacer Ben Sears is named the travelling reserve for the team.
