Chhattisgarh Lormi Election Result 2023: The counting of votes for Lormi, one of the 90 seats in the Chhattisgarh Assembly, took place amid tight security on December 3.
Chhattisgarh Lormi Election Result 2023: Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Arun Sao won the Lormi seat in the 90-member Legislative Assembly against Congress candidate Thaneshwar Sahu by 45,891 votes, according to the Election Commission of India (ECI) website.
Lormi represents one of the total 90 seats in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. In the 2023 Chhattisgarh elections, a total of 17 candidates were in the fray in Lormi, according to the ECI.
The fate of the candidates for the Lormi Assembly seat in the Chhattisgarh elections was decided by an estimated 2,28,397 voters, out of which 1,16,043 are male and 1,12,348 are female, according to the ECI website.
AAP candidate Manbhajan Saheb Tandan and Milau Yadav of the Samajwadi Party were also in the race for the seat.
