Here's a list of the key politicians who will contest the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections from different constituencies.

The dates for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections have been announced. The elections will be held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1, 2024. A total of 96.88 crore voters will elect 543 Members of Parliament (MPs). While male voters are 47.15 crore, the number of female voters is 49.72 crore. A number of top-notch politicians, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be in the fray in the Parliamentary polls. Here's a list of the key politicians who will contest the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections from different constituencies.

PM Modi will contest election from the Varanasi constituency in Uttar Pradesh, where he has also won the election in 2014 and 2019. He defeated Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of the Aam Aadmy Party in 2014, while beat Shalini Yadav of the Samajwadi Party in 2019.

India's Home Minister will contest from his traditional seat of Gandhinagar in Gujarat. He is the sitting MP from the same seat.

The Defence Minister and former UP CM is contesting from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, where he is also the sitting MP. He has also been an MP from the Ghaziabad constituency in UP.

Rahul Gandhi won the MP election from Wayanad in Kerala in 2019. He is in the fray from the same seat against CPI leader and women's rights activist, Annie Raja. Annie is contesting her first Lok Sabha election.

The minister of road and transport will contest from his tradition seat of Nagpur in Maharashtra. He has won the election from the same seat in 2014 and 2019.

Smirti Irani is an MP from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. She won the election in 2019 from the same seat and is attempting retaining her seat. She also contested the 2014 elections from Amethi but lost to Rahul Gandhi.
