Mumbai Metro Line 3 Trail Route: The trail run of Mumbai's 1st underground Metro Line 3 (Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ) flagged off successfully at Sariput Nagar in Aarey. Giving a green signal Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis also inspected the metro from inside and flagged off the trial run on Tuesday.

Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Ltd informed that the test runs of the Metro rakes over the next three-six months would comprise various parameters like speed, emergency brakes, rakes` performance, air-compressor systems, automatic doors testing, ventilation, oscillation in the tunnel - a first for Mumbai, an IANS report said.
