Indian Oil Corporation changes nation’s history by exporting aviation fuel for the first time

IOC is the sole domestic manufacturer of the fuel, having begun production last September at its Vadodara facility, which has an annual capacity of 5,000 tonne. Till then the country was shipping in fuel from European refiners.

Reliance, Nayara face windfall profit tax on local supplies alongside exports

The windfall tax was targeted mainly at Reliance Industries Ltd and Russian oil major Rosneft-backed Nayara Energy, who the government believed were making a killing on exporting large volumes of fuel made from discounted Russian oil, at the cost of the domestic market, three sources with knowledge of the matter said.

Air Travel likely to get cheaper as jet fuel rates slashed by 12%

The prices of air turbine fuel (ATF) have been slashed by a whopping 12%. Accordingly, aviation fuel will now cost Rs 1.21 lakh per kilolitre in Delhi from today as per a notification from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL).
