CNG price in Delhi and its suburbs has been hiked by around Re 1 per kg on Wednesday, in what is the seventh increase in rates in last 15 months. The increase was confirmed by Indraprastha Gas Ltd, the sole supplier of CNG to automobiles in the national capital region, which claimed that this was needed because of "recent changes in transmission tariffs of gas pipeline."
