WhatsApp: These new features are coming - Check them out
WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging applications that has gained momentum with its constant updates and addition of innovative features. To keep up with the standards of instant messaging and provide with more to the users, WhatsApp is scheduled to incorporate several new features soon. The Facebook-owned instant messaging platform will soon have the three applications under Facebook- WhatsApp , Facebook Messenger and Instagram, connected to each other and features that everybody was anticipating like the night mode on the messaging platform.
Status to be shared on Facebook Stories
One of the features that has been seen in the Android beta version 2.19.151. is provision by which one can share the status they share on their WhatsApp platform can now share the same on Facebook as well. The firm is expected to add the 'Add to Facebook story' button somewhere near the Status tab. Richer messaging format for Business catalogue
One of the most awaited features on WhatsApp will be the dark mode, which however will be called Night Mode. Still, under tests, the Facebook-owned messaging application is making the feature available for chats list, status and calls sections as well. The Night Mode will not only give the instant messaging application a striking new look that will be easy on the eyes but also consume fewer juices, especially smartphones that have an OLED display. New Group Settings
The new restriction feature in the 2.19.97 update will allow the admin of the group to block or restrict a message that has been forwarded far too many times.
