RelianceJio GigaFiber vs BSNL vs Tata Sky vs Airtel broadband: After the price wars that led to drastic reduction in mobile data tariffs since the launch of Reliance Jio, big telecom players appear poised for another war. This time for dominance in broadband space. Even the public sector provider BSNL has joined the battle. Ahead of the formal rollout of Jio GigaFiber, which is touted to be another disruptor after Jio, other players have revised their plans while some are on an expansion spree. Take a look at what broadband players are offering to subscribers right now:

Jio GigaFiber

Reliance Jio GigaFiber is currently offering a preview offer with high-speed internet up to 100Mbps for 90 days along with a monthly data quota of 100 GB and a complimentary access to a host of Jio's premium apps. Once a subscriber consumes 100 GB quota, s/he can continue to enjoy the high-speed internet services by performing a complementary data top-up of 40 GB via MyJio App or through Jio.com.

Jio GigaFiber is expected to offer unlimited broadband plans starting at Rs 500 along with a host of other facilities.

Installation charges: No installation charges but a refundable security deposit of Rs 4,500 taken for the ONT device (GigaHub Home Gateway). This amount needs to be paid through Debit card, Credit Card, Jio Money or PayTM.
