Huawei Y9 prime India launch tomorrow: Notify me page, expected price, features - All you need to know

Huawei is all set to launch Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 in India on Thursday, August 1. The mid-range smartphone from Huawei will be sold on Amazon India, as it is an exclusive online partner for Y9 Prime. The e-commerce site has also created a dedicated page for the Huawei Y9 Prime 2019 which is running a live 'Notify Me' option for the customers who want to receive the latest updates on the smartphone. The Y9 Prime 2019 first smartphone from Huawei in India, which will offer a pop-up selfie camera. It will come with a notchless display and Kirin 710F chipset, with other specs. 

Huawei Y9 prime 2019 is an upgrade on the Huawei Y9 (2019) that was launched in India earlier this year. It is expected to be a mid-range smartphone and will take on the Realme X, the Redmi K20 and the Oppo K3 in the Indian market.

This latest launch from Huawei, Y9 prime made its debut back in May in Kenya and Saudi Arabia. Comparing the prices in these markets, Huawei Y9 Prime is expected to launched in India around Rs 15,000 to Rs 17,000. The Huawei Y9 Prime will come with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, as per the company.

As far as the design is concerned, the phone brings a 6.59-inch FHD+ LCD Full View display that will come without a notch or a hole-punch. The back of the phone will have a 3D curved panel in Emerald green and Sapphire Blue colours. 

For the performance, it will sport an octa-core Kirin 710 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and come with 128GB of inbuilt storage and storage expansion option up to 512GB.

For the optics, it will feature an AI triple rear camera setup which offers a 16MP main camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth sensor. While the pop-up camera offers a 16MP selfie sensor. It has a 4,000mAh battery and runs on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie.
