Flipkart begins ‘2018 Mobiles Bonanza’, offers discounts on Google Pixel 2 XL, iPhone 7

New Year mobile sales by Flipkart has begun from Wednesday with its 2018 Mobiles Bonanza sale.

Deals flashing on Flipkart’s website include those on the recently released Google Pixel 2 XL and the iPhone 7 128GB.

Flipkart is offering the Google Pixel 2XL for Rs 64,999. The e-commerce website has listed a 10% off on the product. In addition, Flipkart has said up to Rs 22,000 off on exchange is available on the Google Pixel 2 XL.

EMI on the phone is available from Rs 2,222 per month on Flipkart.

The Google Pixel 2 is being sold on Flipkart for Rs 39,999. This is nearly half of its earlier listed price of Rs 61,000, Flipkart said.

However, the deal is only available when clubbed with Flipkart’s cashback offers and ‘extra off’ on exchanging an old phone.

Apple iPhone 7 128GB is available on Flipkart for Rs 54,999. EMI on the phone starts at Rs 1,880 per month, the company said.

Flipkart is giving a 5% discount from its earlier listed price of Rs 58,000.

In a move to protect online customers, the government has mandated that vendors on e-commerce websites must reveal the maximum retail price of goods along with expiry date and customer care details.

The e-commerce entities may even face financial penalties and jail time if they do not comply with the new rules, a report by ET said.

In the Mobiles Bonanza sale, Flipkart has also listed the Redmi Note 4 for Rs 10,999, down from Rs 12,999.

Other deals include Samsung On Nxt for Rs 11,900 and Mi A1 for Rs 12,999.
