WhatsApp Deleted Chat: These tricks let you recover your old messages

WhatsApp Deleted Chat recovery: We often land up accidentally deleting our WhatsApp chat or sometimes we delete it purposely, only to regret later. Once deleted, we understand that we can't recover it, but there are tricks that will let you get back your deleted chats. Here, we will show you two tricks to access your deleted chat:

How to recover WhatsApp Chat:  Trick 1  

Though all your chats appear on Realtime, you should know that your mobile phone always has a backup of your chat and that you can recover it from local storage anytime. This feature is only available for Android users.

Step 1 Open file manager on your phone
Step 2: Open WhatsApp folder in file manager and click on database. This folder contains all WhatsApp backup file
Step 3: Press briefly for msgstore.db.crypt12 file and edit the name.  
Step 4: Rename it as msgstore_backup.db.crypt12. This process is to avoid replacing it with the new file
Step 5: Now, rename your latest backup file as msgstore.db.crypt12
Step 6: Now go to Google Drive and delete your WhatsApp backup.
Step 7: Next process is to uninstall your WhatsApp and re-install it.  
Step 7: During the reinstallation process, it will ask to take backup from local storage.  
Step 8: Here, after selecting msgstore.db.crypt12, select 'restore'.  
As soon as you click on restore, you are good to go. You will now be able to check your deleted message.

You can also recover your WhatsApp chat through another way. This process could be handy for both he android and iPhone users. Reinstall your WhatsApp on your smartphone after uninstalling it. When you reinstall it, it will ask permission to recover backup from iCloud or Google drive. Restore the backup and you can check your deleted message.
