PM Kisan e-KYC: The central government will release the 13th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana soon. Before the release of the latest installment, beneficiary farmers will have to get their bank account e-KYC verified and linked with their Aadhaar, an official said. The last date to complete the e-KYC and Aadhaar link is February 10.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: Government Order

"It has been made mandatory for the beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Scheme before February 10, 2023, for e-KYC, linking bank account with Aadhaar and direct benefit transfer to bank account for the next installment transfer," PTI quoted Rajasthan nodal officer of the scheme Meghraj Singh Ratnu as saying.

The instructions have been given by the Government of India in this regard, he added.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: 24.45 lakh beneficiaries have not completed eKYC  

In a statement, Ratnu said that by January 2023, 67 per cent e-KYC and 88 per cent bank accounts have been linked to Aadhaar by the beneficiaries of this scheme in Rajasthan. In the state, about 24.45 lakh beneficiaries are yet to get e-KYC done and 1.94 lakh beneficiaries are yet to link their bank accounts with Aadhaar, PTI said.

PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: eKYC in Bihar

Recently, the Bihar government also made a similar announcement for the beneficiary farmers. The Agriculture Department of the Bihar Government took shared on Twitter that the beneficiaries of the PM Kisan Scheme of the state need to complete their e-KYC verification by January 28, 2023.

The Department also said in its tweet that approximately 16.74 lakh beneficiaries have not completed their e-KYC verification in Bihar. SMS has been sent to the concerned beneficiaries from DBT Agriculture Department, it added.

Here's the step-by-step guide to complete the PM Kisan e-KYC process:

Step 1: Visit the official website - pmkisan.nic.in
Step 2: Click on ‘eKYC’ under the ‘Farmers Corner’ section
Step 3: Under the ‘OTP Based eKYC’ section, enter your Aadhaar number
Step 4: Click on ‘Search’
Step 5: Now enter your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and click on ‘Get OTP’
Step 6: Enter the OTP
Step 7: eKYC will be completed upon successful verification of the entered details

Till now, 12 installments of PM Kisan Yojana have been released for the registered farmers. The last installment of Rs 2000 was directly transferred to over 11 crore accounts on October 17, 2022.

The money was transferred at a two-day event "PM Kisan Samman Sammelan 2022" being held at the Pusa campus in New Delhi.
