PAN-Aadhaar linking not done yet? Be ready to pay double penalty after 2 days or check how to link now

We all know that the government makes it mandatory for every citizen of the country to link his PAN with Aadhaar. According to the Central Board of Direct Taxes, as per Section 234H of the Income Tax Act, those who do not link Aadhaar-PAN by March 31, 2022, will have a chance to link it with fine till March 31, 2023.
The actual deadline to combine these two without any penalty was March 31, 2022. After this time limit, the government imposed the penalty fee to Rs 500 for the first three months and the fee will get double after June 30, 2022.

Pan-Aadhar Link: How to Link Aadhaar with PAN Card?
Step 1: Visit the Income Tax e-filing website - https://www.incometax.gov.in/.
Step 2: Find the option of 'Quick Links', available on the left side of the homepage page.
Step 3: Click on the 'Link Aadhaar' option.
Step 4: Enter the required details - PAN card number, Aadhar number and name.
Step 5: After giving this information, an OTP will be sent to you.
Step 6: Entering the OTP,
Step 7: Your Aadhaar and PAN will be linked.
Note: Keep in mind that the Income Tax Department crosschecks your details whether your Aadhaar and PAN information is valid or not.
