Income Tax Calculator AY 2019-20 Online: The government has not changed the Income Tax slab for Assessment Year 2019-20 in a bid to provide relief to salaried taxpayers. However, individuals having income up to Rs 5 lakh will be tax exempt. Experts had expect the government will raise the income tax exemption limit to Rs 5 lakh from the current Rs 2.5 lakh. The IT deduction limit under Section 80C was also expected to be raised to Rs 2 lakh from the current Rs 1.5 lakh.
