EPF withdrawal: You can withdraw from EPF (Employee Provident Fund) after maturity or as per need (according to rules). However, many times, it happens that subscribers do not have Universal Account Number (UAN), so they can't do the online withdrawal. In such a situation, they have the only option of submitting an offline form at the regional EPFO office and then wait until the settlement of the claim. Employees with UAN have to fill different forms as per their needs.
Let us see in detail the complete process for withdrawing without UAN from EPF
You can make a partial or complete withdrawal of your money from EPF. You can withdraw full money from EPF only when you retire or remain unemployed for more than two months. For withdrawing money offline, you will have to get your identity attested by a bank manager, a gazetted officer or magistrate. You will also need to prove that you have been unemployed for more than 2 months.
The withdrawal form should be submitted to the regional provident fund office.
For a partial or full withdrawal, one needs to submit the EPF Composite Claim Form. These come in two types - Aadhaar-based and Non-Aadhaar based.
The Non-Aadhaar based CC form require the attestation of the employer before submission to the PF office.
There are no charges or deductions just because there is no UAN.
