Stocks To Track, Share Market News: Domestic equity benchmarks Nifty50 and Sensex recovered initial intraday losses to finish Friday's session about one-third of a percentage point higher, aided by buying interest in financial, auto and energy shares, though selling pressure in IT stocks played spoilsport, keeping the upside in check. The Sensex gained 253.3 points to end at 73,917 and the Nifty50 settled at 22,466.1, up 62.3 points from its previous close.

JSW Steel Q4 profit misses analysts' expectations

JSW Steel has logged a 64.7 per cent fall in consolidated net profit to Rs 1,322 crore for the quarter ended March 31, with a 1.5 per cent decline in revenue to Rs 46,269 crore.

 

 

Zee Business analysts had pegged JSW Steel's March-quarter net profit at Rs 1,600 crore and revenue at Rs 44,459 crore.
