TCS dividend 2023 record date, TCS dividend payment date 2023, TCS dividend 2023: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) — a Tata group giant that is the country's biggest IT services company — on Wednesday announced an interim dividend of Rs 9 per equity share, a 900 per cent payout given the face value of Re 1. "We would like to inform you that at the Board Meeting held today, the Directors have declared an interim dividend of Rs 9 per Equity Share of ₹1 each of the Company," the company said in a regulatory filing.

The company announced July 20 as the record date and August 7 as the payment date for the interim dividend. "The interim dividend shall be paid on Monday, August 7, 2023, to the equity shareholders of the Company, whose names appear on the Register of Members of the Company or in the records of the Depositories as beneficial owners of the shares as on Thursday, July 20, 2023, which is the Record Date, fixed for the purpose," the filing said.

The company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 11,074 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 (Q1FY24). On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, the profit grew 16.8 per cent while on a QoQ basis, it declined 2.79 per cent. Read more

The stock declined by Rs 14.9 or 0.5 per cent for the day to settle at Rs 3,257 apiece on BSE. On NSE, TCS shares ended at Rs 3,261 apiece, down by Rs 11.5 or 0.4 per cent on the day.
