TCS shares on Thursday opened at Rs 3,245.3, down from the previous close of Rs 3,251.05 post dividend adjustments on NSE. TCS shares finished down 0.36 per cent at Rs 3,215.3 apiece on NSE.
The record date has also been fixed as June 15. Last month, TCS approved the payment of a Rs 24 dividend per equity share of the face value of Rs 1 each i.e., a 2,400 per cent final payout for FY23 to its shareholders. The Board of Directors at its meeting held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 had recommended a final dividend of ₹24 per equity share of ₹1 each of the Company for approval by the shareholders at the AGM scheduled to be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023," company's filing said.
TCS dividend 2023 payment date
If the final dividend as recommended by the Board of Directors is approved at the AGM, payment of such dividend, subject to deduction of tax at source, will be made on Monday, July 3 as per the regulatory filing.
