NBCC touches upper circuit after firm reports strong December quarter numbers

NBCC Share Price: NBCC touched an upper ciruit of Rs 130.75 on BSE on Wednesday (February 14, 2024) after the company reported strong December quarter operational performance.
The stock of the company was trading higher by 4.98 per cent, or Rs 6.20, at Rs 130.75 at 10:11 am on Wednesday.
NBCC Q3 results
The company's consolidated profit after tax soared by 61 per cent to Rs 111 crore in the December quarter from Rs 69 crore Year-on-Year (YoY).
Its revenue from operations also saw a rise of Rs 2413 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 2136 crore in the same quarter last fiscal.
The company's EBITDA saw a jump of 23 per cent to Rs 117.7 crore in Q3 from Rs 95 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
The margin also improved to 4.9 per cent in the December quarter from 4.5 per cent YoY.
NBCC's exceptional loss improved to Rs 23 crore in the third quarter against an exceptional loss of Rs 54 crore in the year-ago period.
