IRCTC reports over 30% rise in Q4 profit; board announces 100% dividend

IRCTC dividend: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) board has recommended a dividend of Rs 2 per equity share of Rs 2 each to the shareholders for the financial year 2022-23 on Monday. The payout translates to 100 per cent against the face value of Rs 2 per equity share. This is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs 3.50 that the company had announced in February 2023.
In an exchange filing, IRCTC said, "Recommended a Final Dividend of Rs.2/- per equity share of face value of Rs. 2/- each for the financial year 2022-23 [@100% of the paid-up share capital of Rs. 160' cr.], subject to the approval of shareholders in the forthcoming Annual General Meeting. This Final Dividend is in addition to the Interim Dividend of Rs.3.50/- per share declared by the Board of Directors in the month of February 2023 and already paid to the shareholders."
