TCS Q3 Results 2023 Date And Time, TCS Dividend Record Date 2023: Shares of IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) ended 3 per cent higher at Rs 3,309 apiece on NSE ahead of the announcement of quarterly results. TCS is scheduled to release its Q3FY2023 results today post-market, thus kicking off the corporate earnings for the December quarter.

According to Zee Business research, TCS is likely to report a net profit of Rs 11,270 crore for the October-December period. This translates into a sequential increase of 8 per cent. In the preceding quarter, the IT giant had posted a net profit of Rs 10,431 crore. 

TCS, the largest IT company in the country, is likely to report a 3.6 per cent quarter-on-quarter rise in revenue to Rs 57,280 crore, the research showed. Its revenue in dollar terms is pegged at $6,970 million for the quarter ended December as against $6,877 million for the previous three months -- marking growth of 1.4 per cent.

Revenue in constant currency terms is likely to increase 1.6 per cent compared with the previous quarter. Its earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) are estimated at Rs 14,070 crore for the October-December period from Rs 13,279 crore for the quarter ended September 2022, according to Zee Business research. 

The IT major's margin is likely to improve by 60 basis points sequentially to 24.6 per cent, aided by weakness in the rupee against the US dollar and easing attrition. 

According to a report by HDFC Securities, the IT sector is expected to post a soft quarter, impacted by Q3 seasonality and worsening macro. The elements of macro volatility is resulting in growth moderating towards pre-COVID even as long-term drivers are unchanged.

TCS will declare its result for the October-December quarter today. The result will be declared after the market hours.

TCS Dividend 2023 Record Date

The Tata Group company is likely to announce the third interim dividend of the fiscal when it releases its Q3 numbers.

The company has already fixed the record date for the payment of the dividend. According to a regulator filing, the record date for determining the eligibility of investors for receiving the dividend amount is January 17.
