Shares of e-commerce company FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd (Nykaa) jumped over 10 per cent in early trade as the firm approved bonus shares on Monday.
Amid bonus announcement update, Nykaa share price jumped 10.8% in BSE intraday trade to Rs 1411.80 per share in early trade on Monday..

The company had announced bonus shares in the ratio of 5:1, meaning an eligible shareholder will get 5 shares of the company against every one share held by him/her on record date.
" Bonus Issue of Equity Shares in the proportion 5 (Five) fully paid-up Equity Share of ₹ 1/- each for every 1 (One) fully paid-up Equity Shares of ₹ 1/- each held by the shareholders of the Company as on the record date, subject to shareholders’ approval by way of postal ballot," said the company in an exchange filing.

The Board of Directors has fixed Nykaa bonus share record date 2022 for determining eligibility of shareholder for issuance of bonus share as November 3, 2022. " Fixation of Thursday, November 03, 2022, as the record date for the purpose of determining members eligible for Bonus Equity Shares," the company said in a BSE filing

At 2pm on Monday, Nykaa share price was trading with a gain of four per cent to Rs 1324.20 per share on the BSE. On Monday's opening price of Rs 1273.80, shares of FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd have been trading at a discount of over 50% on 52-week high value of Rs 2,574 that the counter touched on November 26 last year.

Shares of FSN E-commerce Ventures, the parent company of Nykaa, had made a stellar debut on exchanges last year. Shares of Nykaa were listed at Rs 2,001 on the BSE, a premium of 77.87 per cent, and at Rs 2018, a gain of 79.83%, on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) against their issue price of Rs 1,125. Nykaa claims to be India’s biggest online marketplace for beauty, personal care and fashion brands.
