Ambedkar Jayanti Stock Market Holiday: There will be no action on the bourses on Friday, April 14. Both the leading stock exchanges -- the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange) -- will remain shut on the account of Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti, according to the holiday calendar available on the BSE and NSE.
The Equity Segment, Equity Derivative Segment, and SLB Segment as well as the Currency Derivatives Segment and Interest Rate Derivatives segments will also remain shut on this day, as per the BSE.
Is MCX closed on April 14?
India's first listed exchange, Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX), will also remain closed for trading in both, the morning as well as in evening sessions on April 14.
