Anil Singhvi Strategy on Nifty, Bank Nifty Today December 30: Sensex and Nifty are expected to open in the green as trends in the SGX Nifty hint at a positive opening. At 8:15, SGX Nifty was 60 points higher at 18,337.

Anil Singhvi Strategy on Nifty, Bank Nifty: Sensex and Nifty are expected to open in the green as trends in the SGX Nifty hint at a positive opening. At 8:15, SGX Nifty was 60 points higher at 18,337. 

Overnight, the US Stock Market closed higher, as the Nasdaq Composite and Dow Jones Industrial Average added 2.6 per cent and 1.03 per cent, respectively. All 11 of S&P 500’s sectoral indices gained as the index settled 1.75 per cent higher. The Asia-Pacific markets followed suit as Japan’s Nikkei was up 0.23 per cent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng 1 per cent and Shanghai Composite 0.6 per cent. South Korea’s Kospi, however, fell 1.93 per cent.

Earlier on Thursday, the BSE Sensex reclaimed 61,000 as it rose 224 points to 61,134. Nifty50 finished 69 points higher at 18,191.
