Department of Gram, Ward Volunteers and  Village/Ward Secretariat, Andhra Pradesh (AP) is inviting applications for the post of Grama/Ward Volunteer. Those who are eligible and Interested in Sarkari Naukri can apply for AP Volunteer Recruitment through the official website ie, gswsvolunteer.apcfss.in only in online mode. Notably the vacancies are for different districts of AP including Prakasam, East Godavari, Guntur and Chittor, so the candidates have to apply for the vacancy before the last date accordingly.

Important Dates:
Date for submission of online application for Prakasm - From 01 September to 06 September 2020
Date for submission of online application for East Godavari - From 30 August to 08 September 2020
Date for submission of online application for Guntur - 1 September to 05 September 2020
Date for submission of online application for Chittor - From 29 August to 04 September 2020

Vacancy Details -Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit :
The age limit set for the candidates is between 18 to 35 years, Also there will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per govt norms.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates should have the knowledge on various Government Schemes, Programs, welfare activities - 25 Marks
Should have a previous work experience on various Government Welfare Departments and programs/ NGOs/Federations/Social activities - 25 Marks
Should have a leadership qualities, good communication skills and general awareness – 25 Marks
Soft Skills - 25 Marks

Method of Selection:
The selection shall be done on the basis of interview by the Selection Committee consisting of MPDO/ Tahsildar/EO (PR&RD).

In case of Panchayats:
All eligible applicants shall be called for interview by the Selection Committee consisting of MPDO/ Tahsildar / EO (PR&RD). The letter of
engaging the services of selected Village Volunteers will be issued by the Chairman of the Selection Committee, i.e., the MPDOs

In case of Urban Local Bodies:
All eligible applicants shall be called for interview by the Selection Committee consisting of Municipal Commissioner, Tahasildar and PO / TMC, MEPMA. The letter of engaging the services of selected Ward Volunteers will be issued by the Chairman of the Selection Committee, i.e., the Municipal Commissioner.
