India consumption jumps, FMCG industry gets big boost

FMCG Industry has grown 13.8% in 2018 on consumption boost. Also, strong GDP growth, low inflation, and manufacturers passing on the benefits of margin expansion via GST regime gave the industry a major fillip, a Nielsen India report said.
