Dearness (DA) allowance, under 7th Pay Commission, hiked by 2 percent for central government employees

Good news for central government employees, Government has increased dearness allowance by 2 percent for central government employees. This was as per a formula worked out under 7th Pay Commission report recommendations. PM Narendra Modi led Cabinet cleared the DA hike and its implementation with retrospective effect from July 1, 2018.
