Vande Bharat Express, India's first semi-high speed train gets big recognition! Postal stamp released

Indian Railway's Integrated Coach Factory (ICF) at Chennai in collaboration with the Department of Post has released a Rs 5 postal commemorative stamp on India's first semi-high speed train Vande Bharat Express (Train 18).

On the Vande Bharat Express (Train 18) stamp, Integral Coach Factory and the name of the train Vande Bharat Express is written in 2 languages namely English and in Hindi. The background of the Vande Bharat Express (Train 18) postal stamp carries a faded photograph of the interior of the train which is the chair car of the train. The Vande Bharat Express (Train 18) postal stamp also claims that the Vande Bharat Express is India’s first indigenous semi high-speed train. Currently, Vande Bharat Express operates on the Delhi-Varanasi route for which it takes eight hours to complete the one-way journey.
